But you already knew that.
What you may not yet know is that I write middle-grade fiction, ideally for ages 8-14, which are my favourite years, even though I shouldn't have favourites. I like other ages too. I've even been known to like a few grownups.
I live on the Canadian prairies and I read voraciously, which means I read a lot. I love stories about heroes...not the kind who wear capes and stuff, although they're cool too...I love the kind that are just like you and me. They aren't perfect, but they are brave because they try to do the right thing.
And even though my storybook heroes do have a little more magic than you and I, they are also sometimes a bit selfish, sometimes scared, and sometimes need a little help from their friends.
Feel free to wander around this site and if you have any questions for me, leave them in the comment box. I love messages almost as much as I love heroes.
